Frequently Asked Questions
What do our goats eat?
Our herd is fed a mixed diet of hay, grain, and forage. Our goats get free choice lespedeza fescue mix hay year around. They get grain while being milked, and get alfalfa twice daily. They also have a natural buffet of leaves and brush.
Is your lotion supposed to be thick?
Yes! Our lotion has been described to be more of a "cream". Thickening is natural due to the mixing of oils with milk and water. Storing the bottle upside down can help make it easier to dispense.
Is your milk for human consumption?
Our milk is labeled for pet consumption only.
What happens to your goats after they reach retirement age?
Our girls work hard providing milk for several years. They deserve to live out their "golden years" in a loving home. We do allow some of our girls to live out their days on our farm, but since we can't keep everyone we do try to find good pet retirement homes for the girls we cannot keep.
